ASSISTANT PRODUCER

Will & Co. is looking for an assistant producer to work on our EdFringe production of Will, or Eight Lost Years of William Shakespeare’s Life.
After a successful London run at the Rose Playhouse in Spring 2018 and a European tour in the following Fall, Will is back on the road and is heading to the Fringe.

Our team so far comprises a director/producer, a PR/Communications person, and the cast.

We’re looking for an assistant producer to work on the following:
– Assist the director/producer in organizing a fundraising event in London for the show before the Fringe (early July)
– Assist the director during rehearsals of the show (end of June)
– Assist the director/producer in organizing the transfer of the show to the Fringe (ordering of props, managing dates, etc.)

The position would be based in London and imply 2 weeks of work.
A small fee is planned, but the position is mostly designed for someone looking for work experience.
Interviews will take place on Monday June 3.

ACTORS-RESSES

Will & Co. is looking for 1 actor and 2 actresses to star in our EdFringe production of Will, or Eight Lost Years of William Shakespeare’s Life.

We’re looking for the parts of:
Richard Burbage: Will’s best friend, Olivia’s brother, and the greatest actor of his time (male, 20-30 y.o.)
Olivia Burbage: Free spirit, warrior lady, fantastic actress and Richard’s sister (female, 20-30 y.o.)
Anne Hathaway-Shakespeare: Will’s wife, mother of three, fierce family woman (female, 20-35 y.o.)
Ideally, one of the actors should already be booked for a show at the Fringe, and be willing to play in two productions! We would negotiate accommodation and travel for that artist jointly with the other company.
We welcome applications from artists from all backgrounds.

Auditions will take place on Wednesday June 5 in London Bridge.

The show will run at the Edinburgh Fringe from 12-24 August.
Rehearsals (about 10 days) will take place at the end of June / beginning of July.
One fundraising performance is planned at the beginning of July in London (actual date TBD).
Two performances might also planned the weekend of 31 August – 1 September in Switzerland. Details to be confirmed.
For all performances, the company will cover travel, accommodation and a per diem for food, etc. All company members’ fees will however depend on profit made from ticket sales.
